Week 3 Recap

This week at Wesley, the Pre-K students explored the letter V through the theme of Healthy Harvest.  They learned about healthy habits and healthy foods! They got to paint with vegetables and even ate veggies too! They took time to draw for their journals.  This week's topic was a picture of them with their favorite veggie.  Their science time was explosive with a Volcano made from Diet Coke and Mentos!

Preschool was buzzing with excitement for the letter B this week! While exploring bumblebees, they learned what B looks like and the many things that start with B! There was lots of time to pop bubbles and bounce around. They beaded bracelets and even got to ride on a Bus! They learned how honey is made during science and were able to try real honey on a cracker.  We had mixed emotions about that! 

Our littlest learners also explored B/Bees! They had a blast investigating all that the letter B had to offer like Bluey, blocks and more! They even got to make the cutest little bumblebee crafts.  Learning is so much fun! 

Our preschool and pre-k classes enjoyed their first visit to the library! Here, we enjoyed a puppet show, books, and hands-on finger plays! We also learned about opposites and had fun playing at the various stations sorting big and small!
